Each project is thoughtfully designed as a multi-step process, layering technical instruction with creative decision-making at every stage. Students learn essential art skills through guided lessons — from drawing and painting to composition, collage, and mixed media — while being given the space to explore, experiment, make their own choices, and express themselves freely and fearlessly.

Ming vases + cherry blossoms/ Still Life
Design your own personal Ming vase, bring vibrant cherry blossoms to life, and explore a mix of acrylics, watercolor, inks, collage (to name just a few), using both traditional and alternative tools and methods.

Melting Time & Dreamy Landscapes
Young artists will create their own melting clocks and dreamy landscapes inspired by Salvador Dali’s The Persistence of Memory. They’ll explore watercolor washes, acrylic shading, and collage techniques, all while learning about perspective, depth, and surrealism.

Matisse’s Magical Goldfish Worlds:
Enter Matisse’s colorful world, where young artists will create vibrant, whimsical goldfish habitats inspired by Goldfish (1912), using painting, drawing, and collage in a joyful mixed-media workshop.
